14-19 Strategy |  | A New Strategy for developing 14-19 education and training as a single phase for the Isle of Wight
This document sets out the strategy that the Isle of Wight Council as the Local Authority (LA), the Learning and Skills Council (LSC), South Central Connexions and the 14-19 partnership group of stakeholders have agreed to pursue in order to establish a coherent, well planned 14-19 phase of education and training for the Isle of Wight.
Our vision for 14-19 year olds on the Isle of Wight is to: - Enjoy and achieve in education and training
- Make a positive contribution to society
- Achieve economic wellbeing
- Increase their aspirations
- Raise their performance levels
- Improve their progression to further learning and/or employment
