SOLUTION ORIENTATED APPROACH TO PREVENT BULLYING (Seven Steps Solution (SSS)) Background When dealing with bullying it is really important to ensure that we are all clear about definitions.
It is also important to understand that those who bully others are not necessarily abnormal or evil. In fact stereotyped views of victims and bullies are often unhelpful and misleading. In surveys of adults, often more than 50% of people say they have experienced bullying at some point; rarely would they describe themselves as feeble, vulnerable, smelly or having low self-esteem and yet these are typically the characteristics considered of victims.
