Curriculum 

The Curriculum section on EduWight gives information on subjects taught in schools on the Isle of Wight. In Key stages 1 – 4 these subjects are based on the QCA schemes of work produced as a guidance for schools.

There are suggested useful weblinks, resources and books as well as information as to the learning objectives and targets for each subject. It is a very useful resource area for everyone concerned with education.

Literacy and Numeracy 

Without basic literacy and numeracy foundations laid at an early age, children are likely to struggle in later life to have full access to other areas of learning, to find a job or even to cope with everyday tasks.

Parents can assist their children with Literacy and Numeracy and there are a number of websites with useful information to help Parents.
